A country girl with a yearning for the big city, Kelsey grew up on a small farm in Northeast Ohio with her two siblings, Kyle and Katy, and parents Dave and Tammy. With nothing but acres of rolling hillside and an endless sky for an audience, Kelsey would sing to her hearts content and dream of life on the big stage.
Her passion for the stage was first noticed and fostered in the nearby Salem Community Theatre and her talent and skills further developed at the prestigious Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School.
As a student at Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music, Kelsey endured four tremendous and rigorous years of training under the teaching of some of the best. She is extremely grateful for her time there and the wealth of opportunity and experience it provided. She can be remembered for her role in Spring Awakening as the Adult Woman (yes, all of them!), Diana in Out of this World, Susan in Title of Show and Florence in CHESS.
A proud member of Actors Equity, Kelsey has also performed regionally at Know Theatre in Cincinnati and The MUNY in 2013.
More recently, Kelsey is married to an amazing man and living in Brooklyn Heights with a wonderful community. She spends her time whipping people into shape through fitness, as well as collaborating with her fellow performers on projects and working regionally.
